Thank you for Caucusing and volunteering to be Delegates at the Ward 8 Convention!
With less than three weeks until Convention day (May 4th), I'd love to meet and talk with each of you and hear about the issues that matter to you most. Here are some opportunities to do so:
Ward 8 City Council Candidate Debate:
The Minneapolis DFL Ward 8 Committee will be hosting a debate next Tuesday, 4/22 at 6:30 pm at the MLK Park Rec Center. Delegates and Alternates are encouraged to attend! Professional Somali and Spanish interpretation services will be provided by MNTIC (Minnesota Translator and Interpreter Cooperative).

I'm hosting a series of Meet & Greets at different Ward 8 locations before the Convention. I'd love to meet you and talk with you in person and on Zoom.
Saturday, 4/19 at Butter Bakery (3700 Nicollet Ave) from 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
Sunday, 4/20 at Horn Towers (3110 Blaisdell Ave) from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm
Tuesday, 4/22 Post-Debate Meet & Greet at Cocina Latina (3764 Nicollet Ave) at 8:00 pm
Sunday, 4/27 at Bichota Coffee (3740 Chicago Ave) from 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
Tuesday, 4/29 Virtual Meet & Greet on Zoom from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
